ISO 9001-2000
SEKO is ISO 9001-2000 Certified. ISO 9001 is an international standard
for Quality Management Systems. The system is a set of interrelated, mutually supporting
and synergistic programs and activities where the whole exceeds the sum of its parts.
For example, one plus one equals three. Quality Management means planning and running
an operation so it delivers superior service on a routine basis. Its focus is on
preventing defects instead of fixing them. It looks for ways to make the work easier
and cheaper, which helps control costs and keeps performance at consistently high
levels.
SEKO's documented Quality Management System consists of:

- Standard operating procedures
- Flow charts (maps) work processes
- Records

Our system is audited against the requirements of ISO-9001. We use an outside third
party registrar, SGS, to verify our compliance every six months. As of December
15, 2006, SEKO was completely and successfully renewed by SGS. Our corporate facility
is currently approved to ISO-9001-2000.
